JOHN MENSSEN

John Menssen was born 1867 in Dornum, Ostfriesland, German, the son of Jacob
and Anna Denker Menssen. He married Etta M. Harms on April 23,1892 in Mason
County, Illinois. They were the parents of seven children: Jennie, Anna, Jake,
George (died September 21, 1934), Maggie Menssen, John Menssen, Jr. (died March
3, 1941), and Edward Menssen (born Aug. 7,1906 in Hartsburg, Illinois.)
